My husband and I are pretty frequent readers of a few blogs. We have some in common and we have some that we do not share as favorites, but there is one that we certainly agree on and that one is called pete’s wicked travel stories. This is the basis of many discussions that we have had concerning the locations we want to visit on our holiday trips. We are interested in almost all of the ones listed there and we can usually get one or more pieces of information in the blog post that can help us decide on a city or a country.

Cottages in the popular imagination are thatched huts somewhere in the wilderness where wild animals roam about. That may have been true a century back but today’s cottages can be some of the most exciting places to stay. While some may still be in wilderness, they are a lot safer than they used to be. Even at such isolated places there are cottages for hire, that provide you with modern facilities like TV and internet. The fact is settlements have developed at or near these places. A few minutes drive can bring you to a grocery shop. But the ambience of traditional cottages remains to give you a feel of how things were in the past.
I have just booked the perfect get away for my partner and I. We’re celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in August and I’m going to surprise her with a romantic break in Greece. After trawling through hundreds of all inclusive holidays to Crete, I have picked a quiet hotel perched on a rugged hill top overlooking the sea. There is a choice of a la carte restaurants and three bars to wine and dine my wonderful wife. I’ve also booked her in to an all-day pamper session at the local spa before a sunset supper on the beach organised by the hotel. I really hope it’ll show my wife how special she is and how happy I am to be spending the next 25 years by her side.
My search couldn’t have been much more specific if I tried I don’t reckon, I typed in spa motel lake taupo new zealand nz and low and behold it found me a motel with a spa, who would have thought. The only requirement we really had was that wherever we stayed must have a spa pool so we got that and everything else, like it’s location, was just a bonus. It did happen to be in a great location, close to the lake and close to town, so we could walk just about everywhere we wanted to get to and that was really nice because most of the time at home we have to take the car to get anywhere.
We have booked our holiday package to the Travelodge So we have just went to Bohol. We stayed at Anda White Beach Resort. It was truly an adventure because we have no idea where Anda was. The resort was beautiful, and it’s still mostly untouched. The white sand isn’t as smooth as the Boracay but the water is very clear. Even on the shore line you can see starfishes and urchins. If you love collecting sea shells, there’s a lot of them scattered on the beach walk. The resort is nuzzled on top of a hill. The view from the top is spectacular. We are really impressed with the place. The staffs are equally courteous and amiable. So If you are the type of person who wants a place to hideaway, this is the right place for you.
Planning your next holiday? Instead of booking hotels in London, plan a trip to the British Countryside. There are hundreds of charming places you can visit, one of them is Bath. The city of Bath is located in the county of Somerset, in the valley of the Avon River, some 100 miles west of London. As one of the most delightful areas in England, Bath boasts such nature only compared to the spa of the Greek Olympic gods. Besides the natural hot springs and spa, the city holds an historical heritage reaching back to the times of the Celts, Romans and all periods of the English past.
I couldn’t believe that my girlfriend had never been up north to central park but I suppose if she hasn’t had any reason to go up there than that was fair enough. I make a point of going up there a few time a year at least just to do some of the adventure activities available in the park. It’s a bit of a drive from where we are and it takes nearly an entire day for me to get there but it is definitely worth the effort. If I have a long break I will head right up to the northern parts but that involves about another five hours of driving so I tend to stay around the southern area, which is just fine with me because I love the mountains.
