I was recently diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis and right now I’m trying to accept the truth. Fortunately, I heard about Interstitial Cystitis Network, it’s a support group! I felt glad. I realized I was not alone in this battle. I realized that there are a lot of women out there suffering from the same disease. Now, I often visit the networking group to find more information, to search for treatments and to cope well with my condition. A support group can help us go through our daily lives the normal way, making us realize that this is just a disease and we’re still alive to do the things we love to do.
