Fibromyalgia is not very well understood by the general population and even many in the medical community. One common question that keep popping up is – can you get disability from fibromyalgia? The right answer is no, you will not become permanently disable from fibromyalgia although the symptoms are crippling enough. Certain people are found to be somehow more at risk of developing fibromyalgia than others. The symptoms of fibromyalgia are difficult to pin-point. They can range from widespread pain to fatigue; menstrual pain to sleep disturbances. Because of this, there are a number of conditions that are closely associated with fibromyalgia.
