When my husband and I decided to get new windows last fall, we contacted a contractor out of the phone book. He came over and gave us an estimate, but we took a few days to think about it. We decided to join angies list just to see if the contractor had any negative reviews. It is a good think that we checked there first because the guy had many negative reviews. Had it not been for the website, we would have paid a lot of money for a less than perfect job. We will never hire anyone without checking there first.
