After 12 years in this house, we finally decided to redecorate our living room. FINALLY!! I had grown so tired of the rustic cabin decor that hubby so loves. I wanted something more sleek and fashionable. As you can well imagine, this very idea freaked him out. So I begged him just to go with me to browse a alphaville design store. He agreed, as long as I promised not try to buy anything. Fair enough. When we got to the store, he was surprised by the selection. Believe it or not, he ended up buying a great area rug to start us off! We still have the old rustic furniture, but its a start.
